State Rep. David Brumbaugh was appointed by the House Speaker of Oklahoma to serve on the Executive Committee of the Energy Council. The Energy Council is a legislative organization that consists of 12 U.S Energy producing states, three Canadian provinces and one South American nation.

Additionally, Brumbaugh was also appointed to the Southern Legislative Conference Energy and Environment Committee. Brumbaugh started his term in November of 2014.
